Sick of Watching the Tax Vote
Just want to post a thought. They are trying to retain current tax rates for all. But, They are calling it a "tax Cut" for the rich. The bill does not cut the current rich taxes. It just keeps them in place. I am not in the "rich" bracket, so their rates won't affect me-high or low. But, I just wish our politicians, media would use the right language for the public.
There is a provision in the tax rate extension that actually reduces your payroll taxes withheld by exactly 2%. As an FYI, This is a real tax cut. It is your Social Security Tax. And it only applies to the first $106,000 of wages. So someone making over that amount will not receive any additional benefit. The rich do not benefit.
Someone is trying to create Class Discrimination. Who do you want to work for? A rich man or someone who may bounce your paycheck? I'll work for the rich man.
More to come. Watching the vote.
